it's difficult to understand.
pls explain what this sentance means.....

"when we have an epidemic on our hands, unless we're talking about something physically contagious, the cause is much more likely to be enviromental than a hardwiring issue"

When there is an epidemic, if it is not contagious (spread by germs), the cause is more likely something in the environment (radiation, or some poison) than genetics. [I'm guessing they mean genetics when they say 'hardwiring issue']
