Readers of creative writing

Readers of creative writing are heavily influenced by the flow of the writing and can easily be turned off by work that consists of nothing but three-word sentences or page-long paragraphs of long, loopy sentences. Punctuation matters!
I know "readers of creative" the "of" preposition is correct but if we want to use "for" would it work here? If not please explain to me the reason so I know the difference. Thanks in advance.
