BTW, what is the meaning of the words square cell, sellotape, jammed, draught, peered in this text? I looked up the dictionary but I coulnd't find the exact meaing according to the context.

square cell = small space of equal dimensions sellotape (I know it as cellotape - from cellophane) = strip of transparent adhesive jam = to force something into a small space in order to make it fit draught (American 'draft') = slight breeze peer = to take a short look
