Reach, reach!
I was watching an old gangsters movie last night.
One of the thugs suddently enters a room with a gun in his hand. He points the gun at the men that were there playing cards (a group of 5 cops) and says just: "Reach!, Reach!"
Is it the same as "Don't move"? or is it "similar to "Hands up!", or maybe it's slang for something else.
The abovementioned movie is American and it was produced in the forties.
