Hello,
Is there any difference between "She reached her hand out for the money" and "She held her hand out for the money"?

Thank you

To me, "reached" suggests that the hand might be farther away from her body than "held."

'She reached her hand out' doesn't sound very natural to me. I'd drop the 'her hand'.

Can we also say: "She reached out to touch his face."? The unnatural sentence is actually copied from Cambridge Dictionary.
