Sorry, maybe my sentence wasn't clear enough. I do agree with your points here, but this is just how the company works. Or perhaps my tone sounds a bit too serious? Anyway, this is only served as a guideline for the employee.

The first 3 sentences were introduction. Each offence has different point depending on the seriousness of the case.

To answer your concern, I've been working in this company for a rather long time and the management is treating the employee very well. We don't get sued over small issue or mistakes made unintentionally. If its really serious case like theft or fighting then i think legal actions or compensation are okie. I think this is okie even though i'm just the employee.

Oh my goodness! I'm pretty glad I don't work there!! Penalties for: "bringing a contagious disease to work" I presume that should be knowingly (disease have a sneaky habit of infecting people without their permission); "private gathering in the company without permission from the management" (stay away from the water cooler folks).
