Please do me a favour to explain the differences between ' Diploma, Certificate and Degree', Normally, which one is in higher education and in what situation we will use them?

Degree:
What is your degree in? It's in Physics.
What degree do you have? I have a master's degree in history.
It's the course of study or the qualification you earn at a university.

Diploma:
My PhD diploma is hanging on my livingroom wall.
It's the document that you receive at graduation...the piece of paper.

Certificate:
This is a more broad term. You
