I don't think there are significant differences between those two. I'm sure they can be used interchangeably.

Which three?I thought the original post asked for the difference between the separated and the attached version of the word, then I pointed out there is a hyphenated version as well. A quick search revealed the separated version of it is not actually correct.
Sorry, but a standard education surely teaches everyone that "re-enter" is the only correct way of spelling this. If not, there is certainly a failure in the system of education. Please do not let ignorance prevail.

Some dictionaries allow their spellings to be influenced by widespread mistakes and journalists' errors. Other dictionaries hold the line and retain the spellings consecrated by the centuries before the great mass of illiterate idiots got ahold of keyboards. OK, that was harsh. Before unedited text became widely available. The OED gives us everything at once. The entry in the OED is "re-enter"
