Re-enter or reenter?

Is there a difference between 're-enter' or 'reenter', or can they be used interchangeably? If there is a difference, which one is the correct choice for this sentence?

I don't think there are significant differences between those two. I'm sure they can be used interchangeably.

Hi,
Both are referring to the same word, so they are identical. I have seen the hyphenated version of it as well, so among three, I personally use the hyphenated version as it is easier to read.

Which three?
I thought the original post asked for the difference between the separated and the attached version of the word, then I pointed out there is a hyphenated version as well. A quick search revealed the separated version of it is not actually correct.

Sorry, but a standard education surely teaches everyone that "re-enter" is the only correct way of spelling this. If not, there is certainly a failure in the system of education. Please do not let ignorance prevail.

Oddly, I asked Mr. Webster and he prefers "reenter": https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/reenter

Some dictionaries allow their spellings to be influenced by widespread mistakes and journalists' errors. Other dictionaries hold the line and retain the spellings consecrated by the centuries before the great mass of illiterate idiots got ahold of keyboards. OK, that was harsh. Before unedited text became widely available. The OED gives us everything at once. The entry in the OED is "re-enter"
