Ratio with/of

I tried it with chamomile flowers instead of tea bags so I had to guess the ratio with the parsley.
means I had to guess the ratio of chamomile ffowers, which should balance with that of parsley.

means I had to guess the ratio of parsley because the condition has changed.

I checked it on http://eow.alc.co.jp/in%20proportion%20to/UTF-8/. That's what fits here. I think this idiom is very useful!
