hey guys if i want to say"it's not black it's rather white "is it correct?,what i want to express is ,that it's not balck better said is white,i dont know how to say it,
or should i say" it's not balck ,it's white instead"
which form is correct? ,how can i express that using rather?,if i put it after the to be verb is correct?,i mean instead and rather should always go after the verb to be right?

I am not sure. But I think it is: --- "It is not black. Rather is white." - Meaning it is not black. Instead is white. Hope it helped. Please someone help us. I am learning too.
