Hello,

If somebody says something good about you but you are not sure if he actually meant it or if it was plain sarcasm, then in that case, can I use the comments below:

- Should I take it as a compliment?

- Have you just complimented me? (Is this sentence correct?)

Also, are these sentences correct?
-This has been the story of my life.
-This is the story of our lives.

-Please ensure that your room is clean at all times.
-Please ensure that your room is clean at all time.

I am having some serious doubts in the usage of 's'.

Also, I have noticed that sometimes people omit the word has/have. Like,

instead of 'I've never said that', they say

-I never said that.

He has deserted this place a long time ago.

-He deserted this place a long time ago.

Are they grammatically correct?

Thank you.
