Raising my eagerness

Hello.

A friend of mine wrote me that she had to postpone her message again. I wanted to respond that it makes me eagerer to see the message and I was doubtful about the verb 'raise' in the following sentence: "You're just raising my eagerness to see the message."

I was considering all the verbs which mean "to make greater" and which I (and my dictionary) knows and 'raise' is what I selected. But I don't feel very comfortable with it.

What verb would you use?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you.
