The two maps offer a comparison between the Pacific Railway station in the year 1998 and the present time.
In 1998, there were platforms with four rail tracks in the top right corner stretching down towards a line of three buildings in the opposite corner: a café, a shop, and a ticket office right in the corner. The left side was mostly vacant except for a large comfort station towards the centre of the station.
The restrooms are replaced now by a vertical line of two shops and a restaurant. In the top left corner has also been added platforms with three rail tracks opposite which is a supermarket. The only change in the bottom left corner is the removal of the shop whose space has been used to expand the ticket office twice as large.
Overall, it is evident that in the 1998 configuration, the left half of the area was deserted, so the most striking changes took place on this side towards the middle, developing the actual working station twice as large.
