Radiator

Hi,

Can I say that a radiator is piping hot if a lot of heat is coming off it?

Can I also say that it's emitting a lot of heat or does it sound too technical?

Thank you.

Yes. ("piping hot" refers to the temperature of the radiator, not the heat coming from it, but of course one follows the other.)
