Racism in east germany

In the east of Germany are many Problems About the racism. On of the Problem is that up to 20.000 pegida members marched through the Streets of Dresden. Next afd was founded a new part in the political landscape. But what remained largely unnoticed were the 4.00 attacks on foreigners and asylum Hostels. Maybe one of the reason is that the racist People dont have contact to foreigners, gay People orpeople of other Religion, another reason is that People have prejudices against foreigners and search for a scapegoat. A solution is for example to make more common Festivals where People would meet each others culture and come Closer, or to punish People harder and stricter laws.
