this is the actual riddle:
There are three words in the English language ending with g-r-y. Hungry is one word that ends with g-r-y. Every body knows what they mean and every body says them every day. If you have listened carefully you would have heard me tell you the third word. What are the three words? ok, the anwer is language. think of the part "the English language ending in g-r-y ..." as a phrase. "language" is the third word of "the english language". if (for some reason) this still isn't satisfying enough, another possibility could very well be the phrase "I am hungry." it is three words found in the english language, and it ends in g-r-y. plus, "every body" could be considered a mispelling that would not be caught if "i am hungry" was said to you. OR it could literally be your body reacting in hunger. everyone knows what those words mean every body (people or body) uses them (in one way or another) Either way, the answers fit so just pick the one that makes the most sense to you! | ||||||||||||||||
