I'm checking a technical document and I've found several times the following statements
"calculation were be based on..." and "calculations were be based on...".
I never found a construction like that, it seams to me to be wrong, but I tried to make a search with google and I've found several pages with "were be based"
thanks for your help

Maybe the pages were not created by a native speaker. It should be 'were based'. The other one is not correct.
