"WASH" vs "LAUNDRY"

Dear Teachers,

1. " I often do the laundry in the morning" means "I have my clothes washed by the washing machine", right? and "I often wash my clothes in the morning" means "I wash my clothes by hands", right?

2. What's the difference between "how's the weather?" and "what's the weather like?"?

3. "can opener" is used to open can only, right? how about "beer" and "wine"?

Thanks a bunch to Teachers,

Stevenukd.
