"though" means

hi helpers

i found this means in the dictionary(eng-korean) i dont know when i use it in a grammar

is this has meaning "but" or "and"

for instance : i wouldnt like to go though, i know i must - can i put it "but" instead of "though"

please explain to me with more expamples

Though = although in most cases. I don't want to go, (al)though I know I must = I don't want to go, but I know I must If (al)though introduces the first clause, however, but cannot be substituted: (Al)though I know I must, I don't want to go .
