1. When you have a partial sentence like the one below, how would you reconcile the situation where there are a mix of countable and uncountable nouns following a single article?

2. Sometimes, when I am seeing phrases like "a little bit less," I am not so sure which one to use, the one with "a little bit less of something" or "a little bit less something." Help. Can you think of some other similar phrases?

2. less of is typically followed by a definite article and a countable noun.
