"reply" or "replied"

I want to reply to thank the person for her promptness, please help me pick out the correct tense.

1. Thank you for your prompt reply.

or

2. Thank you for your prompt replied. <<< I think it should be "replied" please correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you

I guess the number 1 is the correct sentence because you say "your", usually an adjective is referred to a noun and not to a verb as replied is.

2 doesn't make sense. "reply" can be a noun and a verb, but here it is a noun. "your prompt reply" is a noun phrase.
