"re-check" and "again"

Dear Teachers,

Could I say "please re-check it again" or just say "please re-check it"?

Which one is correct?

You can say "Please re-check it" or "Please check it again". "Please re-check it again" could only possibly make sense if it had already been checked it at least twice.

Best wishes,
