"Pure" grammatical knowledge vs. vocabulary knowledge 2

0Hello Everyone,02br
02br
00A few days ago, I posted my message about this topic -- pure grammatical knowledge vs. vocabulary knowledge, since now I just wanted to revise a standardized grammar test in order to measure so-called "pure" grammatical knowledge in that many grammar tests which are already available seem likely to include test items requiring vocabulary knowledge ranther than grammar knowledge. So I just want to get your feedback or comemnts on the following test items again, since I've found more grammar test items that I think are based on pure grammatical knowledge. -- whether they are more linked to syntactic knowledge or vocabulary knowledge. This time, I also used some kind of criteria for selecting the items -- "knowledge of sentence structures and that of acceptable sequences and forms of words in terms of syntax" Thank you so much for your help in advance! -CW02br

02br 02br 00Are you asking the responder to choose an answer that is gramatically possible and also a reasonable response in the situation, or just that is grammatically possible ? eg in #5, you clearly expect B as both grammatical and reasonable, but I wouldn't say D is ungrammatical. D is just a very odd meaning in this scenario.

00Thank you for your comment. When I posted this question about measuring "pure' grammatical knowledge, what I had in mind was closer to "an answer that is grammatically possible" than "an answer that is not only grammatical but also reasonable or meaningful". However, after reading your comment, I realized that it might be impossible to make a test i
