!! "pull" a kid's face !!

Hi,

What verb(s) is appropriate if we want to describe an adult pulling a kid's face teasingly, or someone pulling his/her two faces to make a funny face ??

The above def. is from cambridge.... well, that's not exactly what I am looking for. Yes I mean puling or twisting a face in an ugly way, but in a playful manner, not a painful expression. Any other suggestions??

In the U.S. we would say "make" a face, rather than "pull."

Does " Uncle Dave makes a face at Little Johnny" ? means:

a) Uncle Dave pulling his own face while facing Little Johnny, or

b) Uncle Dave pulling Johny' face?

Actually I want to know both expression.

"Uncle Dave makes a face at little Johnny," or "Uncle Dave makes faces at little Johnny," means that Uncle Dave is distorting his own face to entertain, amuse or perhaps terrify little Johnny.
