"provision for potential errors" redundant?

0 hey all 02br
00just want ot know if the following statement is redundant:02br
02br
00We must make provision for potential errors.02br
02br
00shouldn't it rather be:02br
00we must make provision for errors.02br
02br
00Why i think this is redundant: well, anything we make provision for already has a potential to materialize - thats why we make a provision for it!! - if that makes sense? 05002br
02br
00This is tricky !02br
00thanks a lot.02br
