"Most of you" Help plz!

Hi everybody,

I wonder whether this sentence is right "most, if not all, of you do not bother to check the spelling and grammar of the sentences they write"

Or should it be "most, if not all, of you do not bother to check the spelling and grammar of the sentences you write"

Thank you.

The first one is definitely wrong. Once you have "most of YOU" you cannot refer to the "you" as "they." If you wrote instead "most, if not all, do not bother to check the spelling and grammar of the sentences" then you could use "they write."

Exactly. Keep the same subject pronoun.
