"me writing"?

After Kororaa announced its http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=14605 and me writing a http://www.osnews.com/story.php?news_id=14616 about it, the people behind Kororaa have now posted an http://kororaa.org/index.php?entry=entry060521-200059

Is the "me writing" part grammatically correct? I feel bit strange about that part...

I think '..and I wrote a column about it,..' is fine.

Hi,

After Kororaa announced its GPL problems and me writing a column about it, the people behind Kororaa have now posted an in-depth follow-up.

You'll often hear people saying this kind of thing, but it's written less often. You could say and my writing a column about it, although it doesn't "balance" very well with 'After Kororaa announced its GPL problems'.
