which is correct and which is better to use in a sentence like:

A company shall have a/the right to make a decision
or
A company shall have a/the right to decide

'Take a decision' may be acceptable in some countries, but in others it may beg the question 'Take it where?'
Note that 'the right to' is much more common than 'a right to'
