Im actually interested in more on the topic of the orgin, ive read several other articles proclaiming that the "jack" is a slang term used for black slaves whom they would place in wooden boxes and children who would play cruely poke the knot holes of the boxes poking the person inside which would make him jump about and holler in pain... could some one post more... its interesting
