I wonder if there it will make any difference if I say It has to be 'say' because of the present future tense 'will'. 'any good' here means no good at all 'much good' here means there's some good Just my two cents.

New2grammarFrom what I learned, 'will' must be paired up with the present tense, 'say'. I think it's called Type 1 conditional. And 'would' must be paired up with the past tense,'said' (Type 2 conditional).
