"It won't do you any/much good ..." Thank you.

I wonder if it will make any difference if I said-- (Should I use 'say' here?)-- 'much' instead of 'any' in this sentence.

Also, could you tell me whether this sentence sounds natural to you, please?

It won't do you any good if you solely learn English by posting on this forum.

Thank you. Emotion: smile

I wonder if there it will make any difference if I say It has to be 'say' because of the present future tense 'will'. 'any good' here means no good at all 'much good' here means there's some good Just my two cents.

From what I learned, 'will' must be paired up with the present tense, 'say'. I think it's called Type 1 conditional. And 'would' must be paired up with the past tense,'said' (Type 2 conditional).

Thanks for pointing out my mistake on any vs much. I've learned something new.
