"in" and "of"

Hello

Would you help me with the prepositon of the following sentence?

#1 February is the coldest month ( ) the year.

I think you say " in the world," " in the team" and " of them all", etc in the comparative sentences.
Which preopsition should I use, "in" or " of" with #1 ?

Thank you.

Hi Guest,

julie81 is right. The preposition for year is 'of'.
