Hi. Can you tell me how this might work?

Some examples:

This work might require more time, he said, to finish on time.

Or,

This work might require more time to finish on time, he said.

Hi. What do you think is a reason for the article writer using what looks to be a similar structure as the one I asked here in part of an article by Sarah Eekhoff Zylstra, posted 5/20/2009, in ChristianityToday magazine? The title of the article was "Proposed EU law may force out faith-based social services." The part in note is the sentence that comes last of this overall part.

Hi. I might have skipped part of the title. As to the full title of the article and the person who wrote the article, I believe it should be this. Those were at the top (beginning) of the article, which was online.
