Quoting a Quote Within a Quote

ok, so as i said, im trying to quote a quote that has another quote in it

here's the original line

According to the author, "some idiot said he would not publish a book by a 'Hun'."

how do i quote this line for an essay??

(Name of person you're quoting here) says 'According to the author, "some idiot said he would not publish a book by a 'Hun'." '

Or you could paraphrase (embed the quotation) like this:

(Name here) says that according to (insert author's name), 'Some idiot said he would not publish a book by a "Hun".'
