Quoting a quote

I am trying to use a quote from a book. In that statement someone is talking. How do I use the quotation marks?

If you are using double quotation marks (") to set off your excerpt from the book, then use a single quotation mark (') around the speaker's words. If you set off your excerpt by using a block indentation, then simply use normal quotation marks for the speaker's words. " Does this answer your question?
