Quoting a play
I'm not quite sure where to post this question, but here it goes:
I would like to quote a dialogue of a play in my paper. It has to be in APA, but I'm not sure how to do it.
For one thing, the dialogue (Euripides, 431 BCE/1999, p. 35-36) is longer than 40 words, so it has to be in a block, right? I guess it should be an entire tab from the margin too, isn't that correct? However, I don't know how to procede then: each sentence uttered by a person is on a new line in the 'original' work. Besides, the sentences are so short that it will not be very obvious that I am citing in a block. Hmpf, do you people have any suggestions?

Your problem may be greater than I realize, but to me it seems that if you maintain the indentation (4 spaces-- or a tab, I suppose), the extent of the block quotation will be quite clear. If that doesn't look sufficient to you, you might consider something unorthodox in addition, like setting it in italics.

At the college I attend as well as indenting a long quote we reduct the size of the font by one point and make it single line spacing. So the paper is written in size 12 font and double line spacing and long quotes at size 10 font with single line spacing as well as indented margins.
It makes the quote very obvious.
