What does the phrase "infinite horizon" mean? Thanks in advance

Top answer

The horizon is the line between the earth and sky that can seem infinite (unending in breadth) if we look at it across an ocean or a prairie. One's horizon(s) is his/her potential or hopeful personal future, which offers him/her almost infinite life choices. Since you have supplied no context, it could be either-- or a third which does not come to mind without seeing the context.

I suppose too the horizon is always the horizon: by definition, we can't ever reach it, so it seems to recede infinitely.
