"in the midnight"

Hello, everybody.

I have a preposition question.

We usually say "at midnight", but can we say "in the midnight"?

For example: I seldom go to bed after 1:00 in the midnight.

Thanks for answering.

Hi, Say 'at', because midnight is a time. It's not a period of time. You could say I seldom go to bed after 1:00 in the morning.

Midnight only refers to exactly 12.00.
