Are there any differences in the usages of "in case" "lest" "for fear that"?

In case I forget, please remind me. -- the standard.

Lest I forget, please remind me. -- this one is a little poetic these days.

For fear that I forget, please remind me.-- whoops, this last one doesn't work: it needs the same implied subject in the main clause. 'For fear that I forget, I will tie a string round my finger'.

Both 'lest' and 'for fear that' suggest, ye
