"I believe" and "I believe that"?

1)What is the difference between "I believe" and "I believe that"?

A) I believe it is going to rain today

B) I believe that it is going to rain today.

I think... and I think that...

A) I think he is great player B) I think that he is a great player

Make sure... and make sure that...

2) "At the end" and "in the end"?

3)AT the computer lab or IN the computer lab?

There’s no difference between "I believe …" and "I believe that …" in examples A) & B) given by you. ‘That’ is subordinating conjunction that joins a clause to another on which it depends for its full meaning and that it may be let out or elided sometimes in some complex sentences. It can be let out in indirect speech, in that-clauses after some adjectives, some 2-word conjunctions and in some relative constructions.

0 Brievity is the soul of wit.  Grammatically, there is no difference, but in speech, the fewer words used the wittier.  If you can grammatically makes sense with fewer words, then do so.0-
