"I am going to wash my face..." How would yo describe it>?

Hi all,

This is a situation that I don't really know how to describe.

When you have been working on the computer for a long time and you are a bit tired and stressed and you want to go to the bathroom and wash your face, would you say 'I am going to wash my face because I need to refresh myself(my mind?)' ? What would you say?

Thank you in advance.

Best wishes,

I've heard and used the expression "splash some water on my face" - to hear "wash my face" makes it sound like you'll have a washcloth and soap. So perhaps "Ugh. " Something like that.
