In my opinion, an average child can reach out as high as at least 1.1m, and in China, it is common to see the shelves that is just within the reach of the children at the checkout. 0 The expression "hand level" in English has nothing to do with how high the child can reach. I can reach a height of 90 inches, but that's not my hand level. With my hands at my sides, my hands are about 28 inches from the floor. That's a big difference! The check-out counters are a bit higher than my hand level, so they must be much higher than the hand level of a child. 02br
