"hadn't have been..., ...wouldn't have had to have..."

1 "If it hadn't have been for the accident, I wouldn't have had to have reportED it in late."

2 "If it wouldn't have been for the accident, I would have been on time."
What do you think of these sentences? Do you hear these complicated sentences in your daily lives?

  • " These are both used in casual conversation, though the patterns in the if -clauses are not the standard forms for the "Third Conditional".
  • In your place I would learn to recognize them, but I would not imitate them.
