"go on" in "My heart will go on"

A lot of people can sing that exquisite song "my heart will go on" in Karaokes, but what does it mean?

From the translation, I guess it means "my heart will be the same forever", is it appropriate?

Top answer

I think that's right, Maple, yes; "my heart will continue as it is". Have a good Friday, MrP
