"From...to"

Hi all,

From telegram to the internet, from power to nuclear bomb, these advancement in technology revolutionized our lives.

I am writing a essay on the society's reliance on technology and this sentence wrote does not seem quite natural to me. How would you express this idea? I mean is there another way to express the same idea?

Secondly, since I am not familiar with the 'from...to' structure at all. I wonder if you could kindly tell me more about it or direct me to a webpage that deals with it. I do not the name of this type of structure. What should you type into the seacrh engine?

You could try to Google "from * to", but no guarantees! It will only give you examples of the usage.

Although I didn't find any grammar reference to this sturcture, I did come acorss a webpage addressing common errors people make when using this kind of structure.
