"Failed" correct word?

Hi,

is Failed correctly used in the following sentence:

"You look like the failed? version of Elvis"

Or is there a better way to say it?

Thank you

Hmm. It rather depends on whether you think Elvis had versions or was one person all the way through. If you mean that someone looks like a bad copy of Elvis, I'd say "You look like a failed Elvis impersonator".
