Quotes

Hi. I'm new and am not very good at this stuff, so bear with me.

How would I punctuate these? Always get confused where the commas and periods go.

I will not tolerate his calling me a "schlep".
The words "lede", "nut graf", and "graf" are journalistic terms.

Harry said, "I heard Lou say, 'I'm not going to the party'." (How do I know which punctuation ending is correct? Is it ('.") or (.'") ?

Mike said, "I am going home". <---Inside or outside ending quotes.

This is very hard stuff.

Thanks.
