"Entered" correct?

Hi,

"Last night a piece of glass has entered my eyes."

Hi Anon, A few problems here. By giving a precise time ("last night") you need to use simple past, regardless of which verb you choose. If there was ONE piece of glass, it probably did not go into both eyes, but eyes is in the plural.
