"ed" past tense

Hi there, I was wondering why is there a "ed" at the end of "invite" and "schedule" the sentence is not in past tense?

Everyone on campus is invited to come and enjoy free hot dogs, Pepsi products, chips, ice cream and more

Chuck Street is scheduled to land his helicopter at the University Park in the morning of the event.
