Quote in thoughts.

Hey evryone!

I'm writing a charachter's thoughts in italiac style with tags. inside it theres a quote, like this:

Tomorrow will be great, He thought. Everyone will tell me, "This party is the best!"

so basically he is quoting what people will tell him, so is it correct to put it in quotation?
