Quote analysis

I am stumped on an English project, this is due soon so I need help ASAP.

I need to analyze these quotes for ALL language/literary devices/techniques (simile, parallelism, euphemism, etc..). Then I need to explain how those devices help establish the motif of women being mistreated, or the theme: Despite being abused and mistreated, women stay with their dads/husbands because they believe there is love between them.

“he won’t let her talk on the telephone. And he doesn’t let her look out the window. And he doesn’t like her friends, so nobody gets to visit her” (Cisneros 101, 102)

“face all beaten and black.. [because] He thinks I’m going to run away” (Cisneros 92).

“gets locked indoors because her husband is afraid” (Cisneros 79).

Any help is greatly appreciated, If you could just point out some literary devices for me that's good, I don't need the connections to the motif or theme as urgently.

Thanks.
